Process flow:
1. Heating stage
Heating medium: The heating part of the vacuum dryer usually uses hot water, steam or electric heating plates. These heating sources can gradually heat the material in a low temperature environment to avoid high temperature damage to the material.
Uniform heating: Through uniform heating, ensure that the surface temperature of the material gradually rises and the moisture begins to evaporate.
2. Establishment of vacuum environment
Vacuuming: During the drying process, the air pressure in the drying chamber is reduced by a vacuum pump. The establishment of a vacuum environment can significantly reduce the boiling point of water, allowing the moisture to evaporate at a lower temperature, thereby avoiding high temperature damage to the material.
Low pressure state: The core advantage of vacuum drying is to accelerate the evaporation of moisture under low pressure, especially for heat-sensitive materials such as medicines, foods and chemicals.
3. Moisture evaporation
Moisture volatilization: When the vacuum environment is combined with appropriate heating, the moisture in the material begins to change from solid or liquid to vapor. Due to the low air pressure, the temperature of moisture evaporation is greatly reduced, which can avoid thermal damage to the material by high temperature.
Moisture removal: After the moisture in the material is evaporated, the water vapor is discharged from the drying chamber through the suction of the vacuum system. This process can continue until the material is dried to the desired moisture content.
4. Temperature and humidity control
Temperature monitoring: The vacuum dryer is equipped with a precise temperature control system to ensure that the drying temperature of the material is always within the optimal range. By controlling the temperature, it is ensured that there is no overheating or temperature fluctuation during the drying process.
Humidity control: During the drying process, the humidity needs to be constantly monitored to ensure that the water vapor can be effectively discharged without affecting the drying effect.
5. Condensation and recovery
Condensation system: During the vacuum drying process, water vapor will be converted into liquid water through the condensation system. The condenser is usually installed at the exhaust port of the drying chamber to collect the moisture in the water vapor through cooling.
Water recovery: The collected water can be reused, which is especially important in some production processes that require environmental protection or cost control.
6. End of drying and product removal
Complete drying: When the material reaches the predetermined dryness, the whole process ends. At this time, the vacuum system of the vacuum dryer can release the vacuum and restore normal pressure.
Removal of materials: The dried material is removed through the opening or unloading system designed by the equipment, usually by mechanical or automated means.
